Riverton Rodeo

We decided to give the Riverton Rodeo a try this year. We kept hearing that it was super crowded and to get there early for seats. Well, we got there early and pretty much had our pick of the entire stadium. The kids loved watching the Rodeo, but Scott and I decieded that it was too long. We left about 90 minutes into it. Lucas loved the rodeo clown and the bucking broncos! Millie just loved all the animals and couldn't figure out why the horses wouldn't come see her so she could ride them.

saturday mornings

This is what our Saturday Mornings consist of during lawn season this year...

last & first

We went swimming for the last time the first weekend in October. It was a perfect day to swim. the boys had a blast! After a little while we decided to get Millie in for her first swim. She doesn't have a swim suit... so she went in her birthday suit! Overall, she liked it. Not sure if she loved it, but she didn't cry or throw any fits... and that's a good sign, right?!

Lucas has really enjoyed swimming this summer. We finally got him to wear a life jacket after he almost drowned, twice.

Park City

Over July 24th weekend (yeah, don't know where these pictures were hiding!) we went to Park City with the Neidig's. I didn't get pictures of everything... but here are some highlights.

Alpine Slide...

Lucas was quite nervous about this whole experience.

After the Alpine Slide, Scott and I went on the Zip line. 

Rip Off. Glad we did it, but I'll never do it again.

Anyway, Lucas enjoyed a shaved ice while everyone waited for Scott and I.

Scotty decided that he would like to ride the bike around the room over and over and over in what he called the "circuit". The question is... why we all stuck around to watch the goof ball do this for 30 minutes.

The Hogle Zoo

My mom decided that we needed some fun things to do to pass the "extra" time that we have had this week. So, we went to the Zoo on Thursday. The weather wasn't the warmest... felt great to me but my mom froze. The highlight of the day was definitely the tigers. I had never seen them playing in the water right next to the window. Lucas was memorized. 

There were two tigers playing and wrestling with each other in the water. It was quite the sight.
