Disney: Day 3

The third day of Disney we went to both parks and did our favorite rides and/or those that we wanted to do, but hadn't yet.
Millie was feeling better this day... so cute in her Minnie outfit!

Lucas was really excited to ride Toy Story!

Millie on Toy Story. She didn't really get the leave the 3D glasses on thing...

The kids and I hit Pooh Bear twice while Scotty went on Splash Mountain.

Then we met Tigger and Pooh!
Yeah! Highlight for me!

Millie was super cute with Pooh. She was patting his nose and smiling lots.
Adorable.
Lucas loves meeting characters, can't you tell?!

Lucas scored some Toy Story figures for his Disneyland souvenir.
Great purchase. He had a blast with those things.

The Jungle Cruise.

Meeting Woody!
This picture is for you, Weston!

Toontown was a huge hit! Wish we could have spent more time there in the daylight.

Did you know that in Toontown you can go visit Mickey's House and then meet him at the end of the tour? How is it that I have been to Disneyland a hundred times but have never done this?!

It's a Small World all lit up!

Waiting for the Christmas Parade to start...

We had such a great time... can't wait to go back!

Disney: Day 2

The second day of Disney was spent in California Adventure. Although it's not quite the same magic at this park... I really enjoyed all of the new attractions that we hadn't seen yet. We are even more excited for Car's Town that will be come this summer! It looks awesome!

It was such a nice day! We didn't even have to wear jackets in the early afternoon. So nice to feel the sunshine in December.

First up was the Disney Junior show. The kids were super excited to see Mickey Mouse and his gang, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and Jake and the Never land Pirates in person!

Millie and I went to A Bug's Land while the boys went on The Tower of Terror.
This is Millie on one of the carnival rides there.
She wasn't feeling well, but she did give me a smile on that ride!
On a side note, Lucas was re-traumatized on the Tower of Terror again. Scott had him all excited to go on it again... and then he started having flashbacks of his first experience while in line.
I guess that's what happens when you are tall enough to ride all the big rides when you are 2.5 years old.

Millie and I took a break from lines.... and I let her run around on the pier.

I love this picture of Scotty and the kids. So happy.

Even though Lucas doesn't look very happy here... this was while he was watching the Phineas and Ferb Rockin' Roll Christmas show! This was one of the highlights of the day for him!
Big Phineas and Ferb fans at our house!

Oooohhh... and Lucas got to meet Mater and Lighting.
Super awesome!

This picture was taken while we were waiting for the World of Color show to start.
It was crowed... but so worth it. Best night show at Disney, ever!

Day 2 at Disney was waaaaayyyy better than day 1.
Thank goodness!

Disney: Day One

For the kids Christmas this year, we took them to Disneyland!
Lucas went to Disneyland when he was 15 months and Disney World when he was 2 1/2 years old ... but this was Millie's first experience.
There are a few things we would do differently next time... but overall it was a great trip!
The biggest downside was Millie had a super nasty cold the entire time. So, she wasn't the happiest little girl, but she was a trooper considering she didn't feel well.
Millie was kind enough to share her cold with me at the start of the week... and then on the way home Scotty got sick too. I have no idea how Lucas got away without sharing germs... but I was grateful that he didn't get sick like the rest of us.

This is our first day waiting for the bus to take us to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Can you tell Lucas is excited?

Millie and I took a ride on the Tea Cups with the boys went on the Matterhorn.
The trip was basically Girls Team and Boys Team.
Lucas didn't want me to go with him on any rides. Only Dad would do.

Autotopia
Lucas thought it was pretty sweet that he got to drive!

Disney goes ALL OUT for the holidays!
It was so fun to walk around and see everything decorated and so festive.
The Castle was especially beautiful at night...

It's a Small World.
This was one of my favorites...
all changed inside for the holidays.
Decor and music.
At night, every inch of the exterior was covered in Christmas Lights!

Tarzan's Tree House

The first Day of Disney was a little rocky.
Scotty and I were a little anxious to get the kids there... so we woke them up early to get there at opening. Big Mistake. Millie was so extremely grumpy (which is completely unlike her.
Lucas was exhausted.
We left the park at 4pm. Ate dinner and hit the hot tub.
