This year my Dad turned FIFTY! Crazy right? For years and years (seriously for a long time) he has talked about his 50th Birthday Bash. He had big plans for it. He always said that he would snow ski, water ski, and golf all in the same day for his 50th. Well, he did it! Anyone who knows my dad, knows that he is nuts... biking hundreds of miles in a day, skiing down massive slopes, running marathons (40 something), heliskiing... you name it. So, it wasn't a surprise that he'd like to undertake such a task in one day.... I only got pictures of the water skiing part... perhaps the highlight of the day? I am not really sure... but here we all are at Utah Lake celebrating the old man turning 50! Love ya Dad.

My dad had some of his buddies from work tag along for the day.
They loving called this wet suit my dad's Barney suit!
Guess what?
The next day, this wet suit was in the garbage and a new one was on order.
Classic Jimbo.

Me and Dad
We've always had a birthday bond... May 25th and May 26th.
Apparently I didn't want to share.

It was touch and go for actually getting up to ski. Prior to this skiing adventure my dad had gone through a string of bad luck health wise. (pnemonia, blood clots, broken ribs, ect)
But, we all piled in the top of the boat... and he did it! Wahoo!

My grandpa (mom's dad) came along for the ride. Gpa Haskell never misses a chance to get on the lake. Never.

My boys also joined in the fun.

Scotty went skiing as well. He wore this women's dry suit. Yeah, I said women's. It wasn't too bad going on... but going off was an other story. I was laughing so hard trying to get it off I couldn't help. Scotty got a little mad. Oops.

After water skiing came the Tee Time. Then, a catered meal from Cafe Rio with lots of family and friends. Great company and great food.
Happy 50th Dad!!!
