Shaunika. What can I say about Shaunika? Well, let's start from the beginning... Shaunika and I were roommates for 2 years at Weber State University. We lived in a house with 7 girls. The first night in our house we all sat in the kitchen eating and chatting. We (Shaunika and I) didn't know anyone.
My first impression of Shaunika was... well... not good. As she talked and told us about herself and whatever else was on her mind, I thought to myself "Woah, this chick has a real attitude problem! We are never going to get along. Ever."
Little did I know that 9 years later we'd still be friends. Good friends at that. Living in different states. Living different lives. She has family here... I have family there. We try and visit when we can. It usually amounts to once or twice a year... but that's enough for us. After all, she still has a real attitude problem!
(If you haven't caught on by now, this is a massive joke between us.)

Meet Alison. Shaunika's second daughter. Isn't she adorable? Her eyes are fiercely blue.

Meet Sam and you all know Luke.
Sam is very, VERY tall for her age. So is Luke. Although, Sam beats Luke in the tallness jeans for sure. These kids are 2 years apart (am I dreaming this Shaunika?) and Sam makes Lucas look like a shrimp.
They had fun playing in the park.

Meet Shaunika. She's a real peach. Love her, lots.
Thanks for coming to visit... taking a whole afternoon at that!
Loves...
