I had forgotten how much I love writing and receiving letters! It has been so much fun being pen pals with my brother Aaron while he is in the MTC. Even though 2 years is a long time, I am looking forward to reading about his adventures as a missionary and writing about our own little adventures as a family back home.
It's been very interesting to watch Lucas since Aaron has been gone. Randomly he'll ask "Where Aaron go?" or he will be really excited driving to my parents house saying "Aaron" on our way there. When I try to explain where Aaron is, Lucas just looks at me and says, "Aaron at work?" We leave it at that for now ... maybe he'll understand one day.
