On Monday my dad sent me a text that said:
"Do you or Scott want to go to the Jazz Game tonight?"
Um... YEAH!
Being the good wife that I am (ha), I called Scott to tell him of the offer... and he immediately responded and said that I should go and take Lucas. Thank you Scotty!
Wahoo!
So, off we went.
My dad carried Lucas all the way to the game (40lb bag of potatoes) on his shoulders and when we arrived the person scanning our tickets busted us for Lucas being too old to sit on our laps. Come on dude, it's not my fault my child is big enough to be a 5 year old!
Anyhow, it was a great game (if only they would have won)! Lucas loved being at the game... couldn't take his eyes off the court or off Bear.
All week he has been asking to shoot hoops with Scott.
This was at the end of the game... Lucas was so HOT and tired by this time!
Thanks Dad for the fun evening... and thanks to my mom for giving up her seat!
Go JAZZ!

what a perfect daddy-daughter date. i miss those jazz games. didn't we sing the national anthem there a couple times for singers? oh wait, that was for the Wnba. and also, didn't we try out to sing the national anthem at university of utah games with ty hicken and marlies or some random group like that and make it. but then they never called us to perform? do you think they told everyone they made it? oh the memories!
I miss seeing your dad! I never see him anymore.
I want to go to a game SOOOOOO bad! I am so happy to hear that Luke likes basketball... I've been praying he would be my little player so I can go and root him on here in a few years! GO LUCAS!
So much fun with good ol' Jimbo! Glad you got to join him in the fun!
