Every year we spend Christmas Eve day with the Phillips'.
Sledding is our tradition.
This year was nice a sunny and loads of fun for the boys & adults alike.
My parents took turns watching Millie while the rest of us went racing down the hill.
Luke kept asking to go again and again. He still talks about it.
We missed Aaron. Especially Scott... I mean no one else will be a wild man down the mountain with Scotty, but Aaron. Christmas 2012 won't come soon enough.
The crew (minus Dad the photographer)
Crazy hats gifted to the kids by Uncle Aaron! He sent them all the way from Boston... very thoughtful.
Riding up the hill with Daddy
Hum... it's such a mystery as to where I got my cheesy grin from right?
Ali and Jack
Down we go....
Grammy and Miss Millie at the bottom
After sledding we went home to nap and shower... then off to my parents for the PHONE CALL from Elder Aaron James Phillips! Boy were we excited! I wish I would have taken a picture of the phones all lined up, the list of questions ready, and my mom's vice grip on the phone once the call came through. Quite the site!
I do have to say that Aaron sounded AMAZING! So happy. Joking. Laughing. Just like Aaron should be. It was fun just to hear his voice. I am a little miffed that he was bagging on the JAZZ and proclaimed himself as a true Celtics fan! WHAT?!! He's lived in UTAH his whole life and in Boston for 7 months! Where's the loyalty man?! Boston must be pretty cool.
Mom's already counting down until the Mother's Day call... and that's ok. She's his mother after all. She's allowed to countdown every day, week, month, and minute.

What a fun tradition!! I don't even remember the last time I went sledding. Where were you that you could "ride" up the hill?
Love the hats. So cool. I also like the font.
That looks like so much fun. I love sledding! Cute hats from Aaron...that was so nice of him. We got to skype with Greg. I was nervous that it would be too sad to see him and for him to see us (he was gone when Marley was born). So I was worried it would be hard on him to see her, but he seemed so happy and just loving his mission, so I think he was ok with it. Cute little missionaries :)
What a fun tradition! Your kids are so cute!!!
What a fun tradition; it looked like a blast. Where did you go? We need some new fun hills. The kids are so cute and Luke is loving primary! Happy New Year!
@Shaunika and Cindi: We went to a place just before Park City called Gorgoza Park. You pay to sled, but it's pretty fun!
