Christmas morning was spent with just our little family... but by 10:30 we were off to the Phillips' to enjoy some brunch and gift opening! We had our usual sourdough pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Delish! Scott hasn't turned into much of a sourdough pancake lover... but it's tradition!
My mom was very excited about Scotty's gifts this year. She later told us that it was the highlight of her Christmas to watch him open it because it was basically the only surprise that she had purchased anyone. So, here is Scotty opening his surprise...
Yup... Lego's.
Scott was so excited about these Lego's! He put them together that night... and then again the next day in the "convertible" style. It was a major hit for Scott and a big surprise for him as well.
This is Millie with her favorite present. The Moo Cow. That little toy moos like a real cow when you hit it like a hammer. Everyone told my mom that Millie was too young for it... but really she loves it!
Lukie's Wiggle Car
Big Hit! Too bad it's winter.
After brunch we headed to home for naps...
then off to the Neidig's for some dinner and more presents!
We had a delicious meal and got spoiled by the Neidig's.
We played a game this year that was a HUGE hit among the siblings! It was a matching game for prizes! Scott was very into it... and everyone went home a winner!
Supersonic car washes, Cafe Rio, nail clippers, candy bars... ect ect!
Such a fun game... thanks Chris!
I realize that this is a horrible picture of me... but this is documentation of Christmas... so this was a part of it. No shower. No make-up. Deal with it folks.
Me and Miss Millie
This was Lukie's highlight of the night. A new book from Nana and Papa! This was no ordinary book though... it was a Sesame Street book with Lucas in it! These pictures show him realizing what this awesome book really was!
Luke realizing that's it's HIM on the pages... with his picture and his name!
Such a darling, darling book!
Wish I had a picture of the game... or of anyone else that was there... but let's face it, by Christmas night I was exhausted.... in a good way... but still exhausted.
Thanks for such an awesome Christmas everyone...
