sports class

In August, Lucas started a Sports Skills Class at The Little Gym. It has been a great experience for him. At first, he was extremely shy. It was difficult to get him to go into class. It was difficult for the teachers to get him to participate. After about seven months of sports class... he has made such great progress. He still is hesitant to participate in the large group skills... but he always is watching and listening very carefully. He loves breaking out into the small groups and always participates there. He is a shy boy... but this class has certainly cultivated social skills and sports skills for Lucas. We are going to Sports Class today... and he is very excited to go play! 

These pictures were taken at the end of the fall semester show class in January. The parents were invited to go into the gym to watch and participate some. It through Lucas off that we were in the room... but as soon as Scott arrived he was very excited to show Daddy his skills! 

Lucas said that this was his favorite part of his class that day...
