Yesterday was Lucas' first day of preschool!
He was very excited about going to school... and has been talking about it for months.
Anyone who knows Lucas well, knows that he is a anxious and shy little boy.
He does NOT do well in new situations with people he doesn't know.
The past week I had been preparing him for this big day.
I'd walk him through what was going to happen... told him it was just like Primary.
I'd drop him off, he'd wave and say "goodbye mom" and then come pick him up.
Well, all the prep work paid off...
Lucas did amazingly well!
Although he was nervous, he walked right in and didn't look back!
This was a MONUMENTAL day... he has come SO far!

I cannot say how happy I am! And I LOVE that big smile.
Wahooooo! So awesome! I love the pictures! He looks like he should be starting first grade, not preshool... I can't wait for him to join a basketball team!!!
What a handsome young man! Cant believe that he is old enough for preschool!
